Competition
Competition is defined as the act of competing for food or resources in a limited area. Organisms can compete for almost anything. They can compete for territory, food, water, resources, and mates. The pictures above show some animals that can participate in competition. Male deer can compete for mates, and resources. Other species such as Lions, Bison, and Mountain Goats can fight for mates. Cheetahs frequently fight for territory and prey. Because Cheetahs are endangered, prey and habitats are slowly declining so cheetahs have to compete with each other for resources.
